This week on our 100th episode I am joined by Barry Gentleman, Matt Barton and Richard Harkness as we go over the weeks Apple and tech related news.

We look back at our first episode from three years ago before turning our attention to the modern day social media issues. Apple hires to develop the Apple TV and warn users of iOS 32bit apps that the end is nigh. Finally some iPhone 8 rumours surface along with an expensive price tag...apparently.

The second show is two days. Yep, we are like a bad rash, we keep coming back. On this show I am joined once again by Dr. Richard Harkness as we delve in to the new iPhone 7 and 7Plus that Apple announced last week. Is it a big disappointment like many of the Tech Press were expecting or did Apple do it again?

The Mac & Forth Show is back...kinda. Yes, after a little break I have decided to re-instate the Mac & Forth Show..again. However, this time it is in a slightly different format. From now on it shall be a one man show.

While the rest of the crew and I will continue to appear on the Essential Apple Show I shall have free reign here to do my own little thing and delve into the stories and aspects of Apple and technology that I find interesting.

Being a one man show I would greatly appreciate any feedback and input my listeners would wish to submit, be it emails, social media posting or audio files. However, as I say on the podcast, I reserve the right to ignore any negativity as there is currently far to much of that in the world at large.

I Hope to develop the shows format over the coming months and have a number of sections I wish to include.

So please feel free to share your thoughts with me and offer your opinions on any of the items in each show.

As a last quick note if you would be so kind to write a new or updated review on iTunes it would be great appreciated and you will get a shout out on the show.

Thanks for reading and now lets get back to some Mac & Forth...

As the guys and I are no longer really able to produce the Mac & Forth Show we have all moved over to the Essential Apple Podcast hosted by Mark Chappell.

The format is very familiar if you have been a M&F listener so please head on over to iTunes and subscribe to our new podcast.

This is a copy of our 4th episode, just so you can get a taste and hopefully decide to follow us over.

Thank you for all the support you have given Mac & Forth over the last few years and I hope you join us at our new home.

Thanks.

It’s the last Mac & Forth Show of the year, but we will return in January (even if you beg us not too). This week Ric, Karl and Mark Chappell (EssentialMac and Rampant Mumberlings) are joined by Tony Blunt (The Airwaves Podcast) to discuss the Apple related news from the last 7 days. Huge iPads, Apple Music goes Android and Beats goes bye-bye plus new Apple Watches rumoured.

It’s here and it’s huge.

Apple on Android.

Not a good week for Music Streamers.

Every Little Helps, Apple Pay.

Watching Watch rumours…again.

Reverse the decision to introduce the new surveillance bill link.

Karl: Mix-Your-Watch
Mark: Ferrite Recording Studio
Ric: Geckoboard

The new iPad Pro’s are here and so are the entire team…for once. Find out if Matt, Barry, Ric, Karl or Mark Chappell (EssentialMac and Rampant Mumberlings) have ordered one (I know you’re dying to know right)? Also we circle back to the Governments Investigatory Powers Bill and cry ‘Liar, liar, pants on fire’ before rounding up the show by asking if it all now downhill for Apple…as we’re made to believe at least.

Also we have our responses to our last Latched Question and you can join our future Latched conversations by visiting here.

Reverse the decision to introduce the new surveillance bill link.

Matt: TarDisk
Mark: StockPlop
