This week Dean Murphy, the creator of Crystal, the content blocking app for iOS9, joins Ric, Matt, Karl, Barry and Mark Chappell (EssentialMac & The Rampant Mumblings Podcast) to discuss the recent turmoil that erupted last week regarding his app and what it is like when the tech media zero in on you. Also we discuss the new iPhones and look forward to installing the freshly released El Capitan on our Macs.

After a week of playing with the new iOS Ric, Matt, Karl and Mark Chappell (EssentialMac & The Rampant Mumblings Podcast) return to share their thoughts and opinions. Maybe Karl changed his views on the London Transit directions or has he got more proof it’s hopeless? Also Watch OS 2 was released and probably installed. New iPhones should be here soon and the guys share their thoughts about Content Blocking in iOS 9.

The new iOS9 a week later.

Watch OS 2 is finally here.

After last weeks Apple announcements the boys have had some time to mull over what was presented. Are they still as excited as they were last week or have the effects of Apple Reality Distortion Field evaporated a little? This week digital artist and teacher Paul Kercal (Screen Painter) joins Ric, Matt, Karl, Barry and Mark Chappell (EssentialMac & The Rampant Mumblings Podcast) to share their thoughts and answer a few questions from our listeners.

There is actually some REAL Apple news this week as Tim Cook took to the stage and showed off what Apple has been working on recently and oh what a selection we have. Karl is joined by Barry, Mark Chappell (EssentialMac & The Rampant Mumblings Podcast) and Guy Serle (The MyMac Podcast) as well as our intrepid on-the-spot reporter Alex G Fox, who checks in from the London Mac User Group and is joined by Tim and Paul (LMUG) to see what the Apple faithful thought of the announcements. Have Apple impressed us with their new shiny things and what will we soon be shelling out our cash for?

This week, as Apple has announced what we suspect to be the new iPhone 6S launch, we once again put on our Quiz hats, turn and laugh at each other for being in ridiculous looking quiz hats and settling down for our usual Predictions Quiz. Matt once again becomes QuizMaster as Ric, Karl, Mark Chappell (EssentialMac & The Rampant Mumblings Podcast), Adam Christianson (MacCast & The iOS Show) and GazMaz (The MyMac Podcast & GazMaz.com) try and see if they can predict, with no certainty whatsoever, what Apple will be showing us come next Wednesday. Fortunately, like always, you, our glorious listeners, can enter the fray and show us all up…like usual.

To take part simply follow this link and fill in the fairly short form to show, once again, who knows more about Apple.

Also we have our repossess to our last Latched Question and you can join our future Latched conversations by visiting here.
